- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★In the months leading up to me filing bankruptcy, I didn't have a lot of good things happen. Just before filing bankruptcy my mother passed away from pancreatic cancer, at the same time my girlfriend of five years also left me. A few days later I walked in the Kain & Scott. Most of the time you going to the lawyers office you just feel they're there to represent you and take money. But that wasn't the case here, if you days after my first office visit I received a letter in my mail from them. Was a sympathy card with all their signatures and wonderful statements written on it about the loss of my mom. It was that day they didn't make me feel like just the client they made me feel like they care was a sympathy card with all their signatures and wonderful statements written on it about the loss of my mom. It amazes me how perfect strangers could reach out and say some really nice things and make someone feel so good when you're doing one of the hardest things in life filing bankruptcy and dealing with loss of life and loved ones.
